The makers of The Vvaan have released a new song, “Thummak Thummak,” bringing a colorful, high-energy Bollywood dance number to the upcoming folklore fantasy film.
Featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, the song offers a lighter look at their first on-screen pairing. While The Vvaan has largely been promoted through its mystery, romance and supernatural elements, “Thummak Thummak” shifts the focus to music, dance and the chemistry between its two leads.
Who Is Behind ‘Thummak Thummak’?
Released under the Zee Music label, “Thummak Thummak” is composed and produced by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Dev Negi and Akasa Singh.
The lyrics are written by Shabbir Ahmed and Tanishk Bagchi, while Bosco Martis choreographed the dance number.
The song arrives just days before the movie's theatrical release and gives audiences a different taste of what to expect from The Vvaan.
What Is The Vvaan About?
The Vvaan is described as a folklore fantasy combining adventure, mystery, humor and supernatural elements. Its world centers around a mysterious forest, ancient beliefs and supernatural forces, with the filmmakers also expanding the story through The Legend of Vvaan comic book.
The film is written by Arunabh Kumar and directed by Deepak Mishra. It is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, in association with TVF and 11.11 Production, and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari.
The Vvaan is scheduled to arrive in cinemas internationally on September 25, 2026.
